Annual membership

USD 500 per year.

Choose USD or the prevailing KES equivalent at checkout, rounded to the nearest KES 50. Membership activates after verified payment and renews annually. Individuals, companies and institutions can pay, with the appropriate name on the receipt.

Protecting enterprise ownership at formation

At formation, all Impact Investors combined may hold no more than 30% equity. For additional capital, consider debt or other suitable financing with separately agreed terms. This is Ubunifu’s formation-stage policy; the membership fee does not purchase equity.

Your impact investor journey

One connected path, with clear decisions.

01

Set your focus

Record your impact-investment focus, sectors, geography and preferred enterprise stage. Describe your time horizon and the mentoring, introductions or other support you could offer.

02

Request an introduction

Discuss your patient-capital approach and the enterprises you could support with Ubunifu. When an authorised representative provides an invitation reference, request access in the Investors Centre.

03

Review with permission

After review and approval, use the enterprise room to examine available round details and progress updates. Raise questions before recording nonbinding interest.

04

Follow the relationship

Follow shared updates and milestones, and discuss how your experience and networks can support the enterprise over time. Any investment proceeds through separate approved documents and transaction checks.

Start here

Your next step depends on where you are.

Patient capital takes a longer view of enterprise development; the time horizon and terms must be agreed for each relationship. Ubunifu facilitates introductions and enterprise development. Registering interest does not commit funds, reserve ownership or guarantee returns or an exit. Harambee and programme support use separate journeys.
